Ahora Mazda was a Dutch psychedelic jazz-rock band that made one album on EMI's Catfish label in 1970. The band consisted of Rob van Wageningen, Peter Abbink, Tony Schreuder and Wink Abbink.
In 2013 their very collectible album was reissued by the Pseudonym label as a double LP including bonus tracks.
To celebrate this release, the band reformed for a performance on June the 15th, 2013 in the Artishock concert hall in Soest.
Sadly their original bass player, Tony Schreuder had passed away a few years earlier and so the original Ahora Mazda drummer Wink Abbink, a personal friend, phoned and asked me to stand in for him.
Of course I jumped at the opportunity to become a small part of this history, even if only for one appearance.

Original founder members Peter and Wink Abbink played keyboards and drums respectively, and Rob van Wageningen was present as an honoured guest.
Richy Abbink played guitar and David Aguiar saxophone, flute and percussion.
